VR技術で創る、新世代への防災教育 ― 龍野北高校での実践的な取り組み3/3

生徒たちが制作→地域への展開へ、西播磨フロンティア祭での展開

兵庫県立龍野北高校で進められている「防災VR制作授業」は、今年度から地域への展開を始めましました。 2025年10月25日（土）に開催された西播磨フロンティア祭では、生徒さんたちが自ら制作した「地震体験VR」を展示し、多くの来場者でにぎわいました。

雨模様の空の下でもブースには常に行列が絶えず、生徒さんたちは訪れる地域の方々一人ひとりに丁寧に説明を行い、自らの手で作ったVRを通して防災意識の大切さを伝えました。

体験者の方へ説明を行う龍野北高校の生徒さんたち。展示、体験される方への説明についても、弊社のノウハウを提供いたしましたが、生徒さんたちは臨機応変に対応。

地域と共に創る防災教育の新しいかたち

今回展示されたVR作品は、白獅子が提供した「災害疑似体験VR（地震/ショートバージョン）」をもとに、生徒たちが「地震発生後の避難。誘導」について、構成・撮影・編集まで主体的に取り組んだものです。

テーマは「地震発生時の行動と避難ルート伝達」。

平常時に何を意識すべきか、災害発生時にどう行動すべきか、避難中に注意すべき点は何か――すべて生徒たち自身が考え、地域に即したストーリーとして表現した内容になります。

この活動は、単なる防災授業に留まらず、地域の自助・共助を自ら創り上げる実践教育のモデルとして提案を進めています。 株式会社白獅子では「地域で創る防災コンテンツ」を提案し、昨年度から龍野北高校と協働して実現しています。

公助から「自助・共助」へ

龍野北高校での防災・デジタル推進の取り組みは、行政が担う「公助」だけでなく、地域が自ら行動を起こす「共助・自助」へとつなぐ重要な役割を果たしています。

地域の若い世代が制作し、地域の方々が体験することで、災害への“共感”と“対話”が生まれ、地域全体の防災意識が有機的に育まれていきます。

白獅子が支える背景技術と想い

白獅子は、コンシューマーゲームや劇場用映画のCG制作を手掛けてきた制作チームを擁し、創業13年の間に災害・医療・教育・工業分野での研究支援を通して培った技術を教育現場へ還元しています。

私たちが大切にしているのは、「作ること」ではなく、「共に創ること」。

地域の人々が自らの手で防災を形にし、そのプロセスの中で行動変容と共感が生まれる――それこそが真の防災教育であり、次世代に継承すべき文化であると考えています。

次の展開へ

次回の授業では、生徒たちが自ら3DCGで校舎を再現し、地震や水害を物理演算でシミュレートする予定です。制作を通じて防災の知識を“体験として学ぶ”だけでなく、「創る楽しさ」と「伝える使命」を感じてもらうことが目的です。

私たちは、この龍野北高校での取り組みを、地域発の防災教育モデルとして全国に広げていきたいと考えています。

地域の水害を視覚化するために、物理演算シミュレータを使ったコンテンツ制作の指導を行っています。

EN Title Creating Next-Generation Disaster Prevention Education through VR Technology — Practical Initiatives at Tatsuno Kita High School 3/3 From Student Creation to Regional Deployment at the Nishi-Harima Frontier Festival

The "Disaster Prevention VR Production Class" being conducted at Hyogo Prefectural Tatsuno Kita High School has begun expanding into the community this academic year. At the Nishi-Harima Frontier Festival held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, students exhibited the "Earthquake Experience VR" they created themselves, attracting many visitors. Despite the rainy weather, there was a constant line at the booth, and the students carefully explained to each visitor from the local community, conveying the importance of disaster prevention awareness through the VR they created with their own hands.

A New Form of Disaster Prevention Education Created Together with the Community

The VR work exhibited this time was based on Snowlion's "Disaster Simulation Experience VR (Earthquake/Short Version)," with students proactively working on composition, filming, and editing regarding "evacuation and guidance after an earthquake occurs."

The theme was "Actions During an Earthquake and Evacuation Route Communication." What should be kept in mind during normal times, how to act when a disaster occurs, what to be careful about during evacuation—all of these were conceived by the students themselves and expressed as a story tailored to their local community.

This activity goes beyond mere disaster prevention lessons, and we are promoting it as a model for practical education where students create self-help and mutual aid for their community. Snowlion Inc. has been proposing "disaster prevention content created by the community" and has been collaborating with Tatsuno Kita High School since last year to realize this.

Panel displays were also set up alongside the VR experience.

From Public Assistance to "Self-Help and Mutual Aid"

The disaster prevention and digital promotion initiatives at Tatsuno Kita High School play an important role in connecting not only "public assistance" provided by government administration but also "mutual aid and self-help" where communities take action themselves.

When young people in the community create content and community members experience it, "empathy" and "dialogue" about disasters emerge, and disaster prevention awareness throughout the entire community is organically fostered.

Background Technology and Philosophy Supporting Snowlion

Snowlion has a production team that has worked on CG production for consumer games and theatrical films, and is returning to educational settings the technology cultivated through 13 years of research support in disaster prevention, medical, educational, and industrial fields since our founding.

What we value is not "making things" but "creating together." Local people shape disaster prevention with their own hands, and behavioral change and empathy emerge through that process—we believe this is true disaster prevention education and a culture that should be passed on to the next generation.

Next Steps

In the next class, students plan to recreate the school building themselves in 3DCG and simulate earthquakes and floods using physics calculations. The purpose is not only to "learn disaster prevention knowledge through experience" through production but also to have them feel the "joy of creating" and the "mission to communicate."

We aim to spread this initiative at Tatsuno Kita High School nationwide as a community-based disaster prevention education model.
