報道では、当社が開発した「感染症対策をVR体験できるコンテンツ」により、手指消毒の重要性を可視化し、医療現場での行動変容を促したことが評価され、最優秀賞に選定されたと紹介されました。
岡山大学発、感染症対策VRが、地域を越えて使われている理由
感染症対策の「正しさ」は、資料や講義で理解できても、忙しい現場では“習慣”として定着しにくい—この課題に対し、当社はVRを体験型の行動トレーニングとして設計してきました。
本コンテンツは、岡山大学医歯薬学域・萩谷准教授の監修、監督の元、共同研開発された医療教育VRであり、手指衛生の重要性を視覚的に伝え、医療従事者・学生等の意識改革と行動変容を目的としています。
そして現在、導入・検討は岡山に留まらず、全国複数の医療機関・教育機関へ広がっています。
国内での具体的な活用の広がり
1）大学教育での活用
岡山大学医学部の授業において、感染症対策VRを用いた学習支援事例が報告されており、学生からの学習効果に関する声も掲載されています。

2）医療機関での演習利用（札幌市内の公立基幹病院）
札幌市内の公立基幹病院にて、演習での活用が紹介されており、日常診療に直結する「手指衛生」をテーマに、VRを通じた意識変容・行動定着を目指す取り組みとして報告しています。

Snowlion Inc. has been awarded the Grand Prize in the Business Division at the 2025 "Okayama Shinkin SDGs Award" (hosted by Okayama Shinkin Bank).
This award was established in fiscal year 2020, and 2025 marks its sixth presentation.
Reasons for Receiving the Award
According to media reports, we were selected for the Grand Prize for making the importance of hand disinfection visible through our "VR content for experiencing infection control measures" and promoting behavioral change in medical settings.
Why Infection Control VR from Okayama University is Being Used Beyond Regional Boundaries
While the "correctness" of infection control can be understood through materials and lectures, it is difficult to establish as a "habit" in busy clinical settings. To address this challenge, we have designed VR as experiential behavioral training.
This content is medical education VR co-developed under the supervision and direction of Associate Professor Hagiya of Okayama University's Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences. It visually communicates the importance of hand hygiene and aims to reform awareness and promote behavioral change among healthcare workers and students.
Currently, adoption and consideration are spreading beyond Okayama to multiple medical and educational institutions nationwide.
Specific Expansion of Domestic Utilization
1) Use in University Education

2) Training Use at Medical Institutions (Public Core Hospital in Sapporo City)

3) "Nationwide Availability" Delivery Format (Rental via Mail/Delivery Service)

Toward a "Healthcare Worker Perspective" Directly Linked to Solving On-Site Challenges
In addition to our previous patient-centered learning approach, we are advancing the development of new content from the healthcare worker perspective in a form that contributes to solving clinical challenges.
Going forward, we will continue to refine our experiential design that connects "knowing" to "doing" and support the implementation of infection control measures.
