Development and Expansion of Disaster Experience VR

Our disaster experience VR is not simply a visual experience, but a system developed to realistically recreate actual disaster situations, allowing users to experientially learn appropriate judgment and actions in such scenarios.

Development Background

The design and development of "Disaster Experience VR" began with the desire to provide "learning through experience, not just knowledge," utilizing lessons from past major disasters.

Working with specialists, we focused on balancing scientifically-based disaster simulations with intuitive operability.

Current Implementation Status

Currently, we have implementation records in more than 80 municipalities and over 40 schools and companies nationwide.

Particularly in school education, it is becoming established as part of disaster prevention curriculum, contributing to raising children's disaster awareness.

In companies, it is being used as part of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) training.

User Feedback

Actual users have provided feedback such as: "I was able to realize the fear of disasters that I couldn't fully understand through imagination alone" and "It serves as training to act calmly even in panic situations." Particularly from younger generations, the ability to raise disaster awareness while enjoying it like a game has been well-received.

Expansion into Medical VR and Joint Research

Utilizing our knowledge from disaster experience VR, we are also actively advancing the application of VR technology in the medical field.

Medical Training Simulator

Training content for medical professionals contributes to improving judgment and skills in actual medical settings. In particular, it has been highly evaluated by medical educational institutions as a tool for learning emergency responses and handling rare cases that are difficult to practice with actual patients.

Technology Development Philosophy and Social Responsibility

Since our founding, we have upheld the philosophy of "Transcending Knowledge and Language Barriers — Technology Beyond That Exists to Make People Happy."

While the possibilities of VR technology are limitless, we have always prioritized "solving social issues" and "contributing to people's safety and security" as areas of application.

We are not just pursuing cutting-edge technology, but always considering how that technology will be utilized in society and what value it will create.

We also emphasize the democratization of technology, implementing measures such as developing systems that can be experienced without expensive specialized equipment and special pricing for educational institutions, ensuring that the benefits of technology reach society widely.

Future Outlook

Technological Evolution

Going forward, we will advance the development of more personalized experiences through AI integration and multi-participant disaster response training systems.

With the spread of 5G/6G in mind, we aim to realize VR experiences with higher definition and real-time capabilities.

International Expansion

Disasters are a global issue.

We want to contribute to global disaster prevention education by expanding the know-how of disaster experience VR cultivated in Japan to overseas markets, and are proceeding with customization to match the disaster characteristics of each country.

Tackling New Social Challenges

Beyond disasters and medicine, there are numerous social issues that can be solved with VR technology, such as correcting educational disparities and maintaining cognitive function in the elderly.

We will continue to broaden our perspective and pursue the possibilities of technology.

In Conclusion

Through media coverage and collaboration with various organizations, we have been given valuable opportunities to make our initiatives widely known.

We will continue to remember our original purpose of "contributing to society through technology" and strive to develop VR systems that contribute to the safety and health of more people.

We look forward to your continued support and cooperation.

We hope you will continue to take interest in our company's activities.
